Re: Deluge creates oversized files
Gosh do I feel stupid now. I was beating the wrong end of the horse. Apparently somewhere in the last week or so the Ubuntu developers pushed a patch for the Nautilus file manager that now uses their "official" and corrected byte counting syntax. Before 1024 bytes were 1KB and now it's 100...

[SOLVED] Deluge creates oversized files
For a few days now Deluge 1.3.3. has been behaving very strangely. When I download files Deluge first allocates too small of a file size (for example a 349MB video gets allocated with ~310-320 MB) and once the download is completed the file suddenly is 366MB. Same for any other consistent video file...

Re: Deluge 1.1.9 PPA build, libtorrent dependency
Oh well, nevermind, I shouldn't try to update packages that late at night. The package names confused me because they're 0.1.44.4-2 .

Deluge 1.1.9 PPA build, libtorrent dependency
When I try to install 1.1.9 on my Jaunty machine from the PPA I get an error stating that python-libtorrent is 0.14.2 instead of 0.14.4 but you guys don't provide an updated libtorrent package in the PPA, the version there is also 0.14.2 doesn't that make the package obsolete because it can't be ins...

Port Settings ignored (1.1.7)
Lately Deluge seems to arbitrarily assign ports despite other user settings. I have set a fixed port for incoming connections and Deluge simply assigns a random port even though "random ports" are deactivated. I've set my port to 26689 and this morning it was something in the 30657 range. ...

No more packaged updates?
I'm just wondering. I know you guys had some staff trouble and that your precompiled packages are maintained by other people but don't you have any say in that? GetDeb still lists only 1.1.6 and even your "own" PPA at Launchpad only carries the 1 month old 1.1.7. I don't want to install fr...

Re: Deluge 1.1.3 - Where is it?
The reason markybob left wasn't because I was against having packages.. It's rather a symptom of his absence. He was the one who built the packages every release. Since I don't have the time/inclination to continue this, I am employing the community to help with packaging and the various package ma...

Re: Deluge 1.1.3 - Where is it? For Ubuntu.
There is probably a good explanation for this move. Can someone point me to it. Yeah, I'd love to hear the reasons for that too. I would guess it's a lot of work to build all the packages respectively for every version but rather than ditching the pre-build packages completely I would have loved to...

[Request] Tracking Country stats plugin
Hi guys, I've been reading stuff about BitTorrent left and right and I'm an active user for a long time and so I planned on doing some reasearch. I want to figure out what the overall rate of international peers that I connect to during a certain period of time is. This is to show what effect on int...

Re: Deluge no longer supported on private tracker
I've found that Deluge reports that I've downloaded more than the size of the torrent. That might very well be true and Deluge has nothing to do with it. Just because it's torrent it doesn't mean there is no over-downloading. Some pieces you receive from other clients might be faulty and have to be...
