Re: I dont like the new systray, how do I revert to old vers
Finally, that is the problem I was having with Deluge 1.3.2 in Natty. Because Deluge was actually opening before displaying the ERRNO 2 I'd assumed it was Deluge and not Firefox that was the guilty party. Manually changing the Firefox torrent helper application to /usr/bin/deluge-gtk solves the issu...

Xubuntu Natty with Deluge 1.3.2 ERROR
I added a PPA so I could upgrade to the latest version of Deluge. Natty seems to be unsupported in the official deluge team ppa so I found another. I upgraded deluge, deluge-common, and deluge-gtk But when I add a torrent now I get and error...Invalid File...no such file or directory. So I am guessi...

Re: Deluge still alive?
I must say I was surprised to see the sarcastic comment above. Sure, Deluge has a reputation for being buggy but it is without a doubt the best torrent client for linux. I've tried many others and they all suck; I always come back to Deluge. I visited the forum just to see if there was an updated re...

Re: Deluge 1.1.9 PPA build, libtorrent dependency
I wasn't going to use the PPA after the problems with the last updates. But then when 1.1.9 came out I wanted it (since each release squashes a few more of the bugs) and getdeb were too slow getting packages up. I let the PPA update both libtorrent and the deluge packages and no problems at all this...

new kernel stops problem
Ever since I moved to Jaunty, I have had a recurring problem that starting Deluge takes 3-4 starts before the interface loads correctly (it is basically just a blank window and titlebar for those first attempts). I have found lots of issues under Jaunty (my laptop uses an Intel chipset and the well-...

Re: Deluge 1.1.7 & 1.1.8 started blank
Yeah just the PPA updates from today for python-libtorrent and libtorrent-rasterbar.
So anything with 14.4 has the potential to be poison...(I am sure there were two versions of each that came through in PPA repo updates this morning...like a jaunty3 and jaunty4 or something like that.)

Re: Deluge 1.1.7 & 1.1.8 started blank
I have managed to fix the problem by rolling back. I am certainly not an expert but I will post my instructions here and you can follow them if you need to. 1. Uninstall libtorrent-raster, python-libtorrent, and all deluge packages via Synaptic. 2. Remove the Deluge PPA from the third party listings...

Re: Deluge 1.1.7 & 1.1.8 started blank
I had the same problem - it would always take 3-4 restarts before the interface loaded correctly. This morning there was an update to libtorrent-rasterbar and the python libtorrent file. Now Deluge doesn't give me an interface no matter how many times I try to start it. I will try forcing the old ve...

completed files not being moved
Deluge 1.1.8 (default libtorrent from Ubuntu Jaunty Repo) on Xubunty Jaunty I am finding that completed torrents that are single files are not being moved to my completed folder. If the torrent is a folder containing multiple files they are moved correctly but not so if it is just a single file. Has...

There are other bugs relating to force-recheck as well.
