Ever since I moved to Jaunty, I have had a recurring problem that starting Deluge takes 3-4 starts before the interface loads correctly (it is basically just a blank window and titlebar for those first attempts).
I have found lots of issues under Jaunty (my laptop uses an Intel chipset and the well-known regressions have really impacted on my experience). I enabled the repo for proposed updates and the revised kernel certainly improved things a bit. I also added the ubunty kernel devs PPA and have been trialling kernel 2.6.30. So far it has been great and one of the best fixes I have experienced is that Deluge starts first time, every time. No blank windows in the week or so I have been using the latest kernel.

That's good to know, have had a few complaints from jaunty regarding deluge.
