No Incoming connections??

Post by JXBlack »

I am running Deluge 0.5.9.3 om WinXP. The status line says I have "no incoming connections" and I amd downloading at a rate of about 4% of my maximum. What can I do to improve this download rate?

Thanks

Most likely means your port is not forwarded properly if you're behind a firewall/router.

I'm running 1.0.2 on a Debian Testing system and noticed in the status bar it says "No Incoming Connections!" But I'm downloading and uploading torrents fine. I didn't notice this on 0.5.9.3, which I just upgraded from. Should I be concerned about this?

You will generally get better speeds when your ports are forwarded properly. Without forwarding your ports other peers cannot connect to you.

I also have the same problem And like the post above never had this problem before deluge is set to its own port on my router I do not use a firewall, but it refuses to port-forward if I go back to a previous version all well so I think there is a coding problem. I'm using Arch its also telling me their are 70 DHT nodes, this is very confusing to say the least the web says ports are closed older version no problems other applications no problems. :(
