Deluge 0.9.08 questions

Post by jzng89 »

Hello, first I would like to thank the developers and all those on Deluge Client for Windows team. Malaysian ISP, Streamyx, throttled torrents and only Deluge's encryption seems to do the trick in overcoming this problem. (I've tried about 5 other clients and non come close to the speeds I get on Deluge). Thank you all VERY much!

And to my questions. I'm using Deluge 0.9.08 and I can't seem to find the Proxy options (Streamyx again has blocked some trackers and I use proxies to overcome this). Is there a plugin?

And one more question, how do you associate torrents with Deluge? I mean, which am I supposed to associate the files with, deluge.cmd? deluge2.cmd? (I've tried a few but it didn't work).

Thank you in advance.

There is no proxy in RC's yet.

When you installed deluge it should have associated torrent files for you... it opens with deluge.cmd in the main install folder, not the scripts folder.

You might want to create a button in the settings to associate Deluge with .torrent files... I had problems aswell.

Also, can you create an Icon for deluge.cmd. Because association with .torrent files gives the torrent files no icon... so maybe use the icon from the main program for the script or figure out a way to get the icon to appear on .torrent files

thanks.
