deluge does not open on windows xp

hi I am Brazilian and was looking for an alternative to utorrent and would test the deluge more after installation it is not open (after clicking the icon on the desktop screen flashes one of the ".cmd" and not appear on the program interface). I use windows xp x86 in a athlon64. refis since the installation several times and remains the same, what may be happening? already tested here at home and 14 computers in lanhouse (all windows xp x86). none of them opened.

it's a known issue that the latest RC doesn't seem to open.
either try RC5 or the latest 0.5.
you can get both from: http://download.deluge-torrent.org

RC4 was the last one that worked without setting any workarounds. Try RC5 and RC6, but you may need to copy the deluge folder to the other program files folder for x64. I haven't gotten RC7 to work at all though.

Common error with pretty much the whole 0.5 line... unknown as to what causes it. You can try and make sure ipv6 protocol is installed... that works for some people.
Try a search for "visual c error" for lots of other people with the same problem.
