Data Checking works really badly

Post by banana.boy »

Hi.

I have an important issue.
When I download a torrent and restart Deluge (or force re-check), it doen't seem to recognize all data.

Example : I've downloaded 50% of a 1.6 Go multi-files torrent.
I restart Deluge.
It checks the data : my torrent is at 2% !!! Only few files are detected as downloaded, all at 10.5%.

Thank you for your attention. ;)

I just upgraded to 0.5.9.3 (ubuntu amd64) and I get worried by your post. What is your OS and version of deluge that you are using?

how big are the pieces in this torrent? Im pretty sure the progress bar only shows completed pieces after a recheck and if your torrent has large pieces (mb maybe?) and all you have are a bunch of half completed pieces, then it will show the progress is really low but then it will start going really fast as the half completed pieces start finishing

I don't think it comes from here, because, whe the download starts again, it's not any faster. :(
