How to specify that a torrent is a seed only?

I've switched over from azureus to deluge as it seems like it gets around sandvine somehow.
However when I want to set up a torrent I've uploaded to a site to seed, I'm running into trouble.
In azureus there was an option to open a torrent for seeding, but I don't see that in deluge.

Is there any way to specify this, or what proceedure should I follow to ensure that deluge knows it is to be seeded?
As it is, I add the file to deluge, but after it checks it, it says "downloading" rather than seeding and nothing happens.

you can either use the torrent creator plugin, which gives you the option to load the torrent for seeding right away, or load up an existing torrent and tell deluge to save it to the same spot, in which case it would "resume" the torrent. if the torrent is 100% downloaded, it would go straight to seeding. make sure you dont include the torrent root in the save path, though. if the torrent contains a folder called foo, tell it to save to /home/user and not /home/user/foo
