DELETE in search box also deletes selected torrrent

I'm using ubuntu hardy heron and deluge 0.5.9.2.
when ever i use the delete key in the search box. A confirmation dialog box appears to delete the selected torrent.

True, it does indeed want to delete the currently selected torrent. It's because delete key is associated with the particular function of deleting torrents. Alternatively you could use the backspace key for removing unwanted text from the search box. I don't know, I always liked the backspace key better anyway...
