so for the past week or so, i've noticed that my tracker announce time has been moved up to 2 hours instead of the usual 10 minutes. i can't really sit at my computer refreshing the tracker, and with a 17 gig download i'll need to get it sooner rather than later.
is there a way to edit/adjust the tracker announce time? checked preferences, the FAQ and these forums but i could not find anything on this particular subject.
thanks in advance for the answers.
tracker announce time
Re: tracker announce time
You shouldn't have to keep refreshing the tracker, it's actually putting a lot more stress than needed onto a tracker by refreshing it manually.
I think once a torrent contacts a tracker the tracker decides how often it automatically re-announces, and if you enable DHT I believe there's no reason to manually refresh it.

Re: tracker announce time
Some trackers are just extremely difficult to maintain a ratio on...
With uTorrent RSS, I was getting 2-3 ratio from BitMeTV — Deluge+FlexGet gets from 0.1 to 1 (if I'm lucky), it seems like it's not getting any peers... I've been changing the settings, and making FlexGet refresh the feed more frequently... trying to figure out why this is happening, but nothing changes...
Is this still an issue?

http://www.mail-archive.com/deluge-dev@ ... 00603.htmlThis means that, if you have > 1000 torrents, announces fail and, when
they fail and reach the max re-announce time, they begin to synchronise.
Eventually you end up with all torrents attempting to announce
simultaeneously which, obviously, fails.
