Downloading to SMB share

Post by mikahakkinen »

Is there any way to configure my Downloads folder to be a location on an SMB share? This is a guest-only share I have configured on OpenMediaVault, and it's both accessible from my Emby server and from Windows, but when I try to set it as the Downloads folder my torrents just sit at 0%. I've tried smb://[server]/share and \\[server]\Share but neither syntax seems to work.

Hello mikahakkinen,

What you can try is to create a mount on your Linux system where deluged is running on. This mount through /etc/fstab (to make it persistent even after a reboot) referring to a sambashare.
