Peers - % Being Shared

Post by THRobinson »

Been using uTorrent for a decade now, and someone recommended Deluge so giving it a try. So far it's nice and clean, seems to do what I want, however, one thing I can seem to see is under the Peers tab, where it shows how much of the file they have.

In uTorrent, I can have something downloading, and see (for example) 8 peers sharing the file, and 3 of them have 100%.

Very handy in cases where it's an older torrent and there's like 5 peers and everyone stuck at 24%. Makes it easier to know if a dead end or not.

How do I view that? I can seem to add/remove columns from there. Thanks

Hi :)

To me sound like already there, what you ask about, I.e peers tab by default shows progress of individual peers, but guessing then I misunderstood your question likely.

Can also just take a quick look at it's availability(either in its column or under status tab), where under 1 means no full copy available in swarm currently.

Ah, so that % is what they have... wasn't sure if it was that or, if I had 500MB downloaded so far, that % was how much of it they uploaded.

Also means after 2 days downloading, no one with more than 24% of the file has ever come online. :D

Another quick question then I hope... is there a way to append something to the end of files still downloading?

uTorrent for example, added .!ut at the end of incomplete files.

The only somewhat relevant feature is the move completed directory, where the Downloads directory turns into a type of incomplete directory.
