Hi,
I've been running deluged on a sever (deluged 1.3.5 on centos 5) and connecting to it through the thinclient on my ubuntu box (trisquel 7 with deluge 1.3.6) for over a year now. I installed debian (debian 8 deluge 1.3.10) on a new computer and tried to connect to the thinclient, but it seems that my deluge cannot see the thinclient, since the light is red. I thought this could be a version incompatibility problem, so I installed deluge 1.3.6 on my debian computer, which did not solve my problem (and was a pita to remove). I then tried to re-enter the address of the thinclient on my ubuntu computer to see if I had entered some special parameters last year when I tried to install, and it still connected to my thinclient. I then enabled debug logging "$ deluge -L debug -l deluge.log" on my debian computer and got this error : "Connection lost to daemon at 198.143.XXX.XXX:58846 reason: Connection was closed cleanly.". I now suspect that this is a python-twisted issue on debian.
Has anyone experienced the same problems?
EDIT: Connecting via the webIU works on every machine.
Thinclinet working on Ubuntu, but not on Debian
Re: Thinclinet working on Ubuntu, but not on Debian
The first thing you do before asking about a issue is upgrade Deluge not downgrade... Anyway you are facing the POODLE security issue.

Thanks Cas!
I installed deluge 1.3.12 on my server via the nux-repo for centos 6 and it worked!
