Can't install 0.5.9.0

I aget a message saying that the previous version can't be un installed but it will install 0.5.9.0. It then starts to install and I I get a series of messages "error opening file for writing"

cairo.pyd
dbus_bindings.pyd
dbus_glib_bindings.pyd
etc
etc

I have already deleted C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Deluge\persistent.state
but I still can't open the old version or install the new version.

I don't care about my current torrents I just want it to get going again?

Is their anything I can do in the registry??? so I can get a fresh install?

Uninstall is not usually required.
Make sure the dbus-daemon-deluge.exe is not running when installing a new version... and Deluge itself for that matter, obviously.

Thanks a lot. Process showed that I actually had 3 Deluge.exe running .I got 0.5.9.0 installed but I still get the C++ Runtime error.
Can you suggest anything that might stop this?

try installing ipv6, sometimes it prevents deluge from crashing with that error.
