Newbie question - torrent shows Error instead of Seeding

Post by zan5hin »

Hi, I am a longtime torrent user, finally wanting to kick my uTorrent habit. I am running Windows 8.1. I have installed the additional Plugins LabelPlus, Pieces and Stats.

I am migrating files that I want to seed into Deluge and it is working well. The .torrent file is moved to an auto-watch folder, it get's added, and automatically re-checked.

These torrents usually have one large file which is always downloaded, and a smaller file that I choose not to download.

The small file will start downloading, so I have to manually select the small file and right-click and choose "do not download".

Performing the above action in uTorrent would then ignore the small file, see that the parts of the torrent which I do want to download, have already been completed, and show me that the torrent is now Seeding.

In Deluge, instead have a bunch of torrents with angry red arrows, showing me Error 99.xx%

Is there a way to make it show up as seeding, when the specfic file is marked as "do not download"?

Thanks
