I fine that when Im seeding a few torrents and just wanna remove one, by mistake I click on Clear and it removes all completed downloads without notification. Maybe I turned off the notification...
If you cant remove the button I hope the dev team considers adding a notification ^_^

I've considered just removing this function from 0.6.. Does anyone actually use it?TidusBlade wrote:I fine that when Im seeding a few torrents and just wanna remove one, by mistake I click on Clear and it removes all completed downloads without notification. Maybe I turned off the notification...

Re: Clear Button
i do. it's just silly to get rid of something because one user hits the wrong button.andar wrote:I've considered just removing this function from 0.6.. Does anyone actually use it?

Re: Clear Button
I meant remove the button as in customizable toolbar or something, not removing it from the program

Re: Clear Button
I wasn't considering removing it for that reason, this topic just made me think about it some more.. I am not sure of the current behaviour because I have never used the function before, but how does it differentiate between 'Finished' and 'Not Finished' torrents? Is it purely based on total_downloaded vs total_wanted, or does it take other things into consideration, such as desired ratio?markybob wrote:i do. it's just silly to get rid of something because one user hits the wrong button.andar wrote:I've considered just removing this function from 0.6.. I guess what I am getting at is, how do we decide what is 'Finished'? Torrents don't necessarily finish when the download portion is over as there is seeding to be done.. When is a torrent truly finished, if ever? Would simply renaming the button to 'Remove Seeding Torrents' better illustrate it's purpose?

Re: Clear Button
right now it doesn't take ratio into account, just that it's done downloading total_wanted. i see your point and you're right. i'll rename it in 0.5.x.andar wrote:I wasn't considering removing it for that reason, this topic just made me think about it some more..
