I was downloading some files from a big torrent (the whole torrent is bigger than the free space I have). I propably started this torrent some versions back with deluge. It was continuing to download with the newer versions but just now I paused it and deluge doesn't let me resume it. I have more than enough space on disk for the files I have selected to download.
Is there some workaround for this? even a change I can make to the source to disable this check for a while? I tried to track down where in the source I can disable it but haven't found it...
can't start torrents bigger than the free space I have.
Re: can't start torrents bigger than the free space I have.
what you can do is right click on the torrent inside the deluge client and choose "remove torrent."
When it asks what you want to remove, UNCHECK "downloaded files" and "torrent."
then, re-add the torrent to deluge, and it will do a check on the files you have already downloaded for that torrent.
I hope this will be fixed for .6 client.

click "force recheck" then click resume, while it is rechecking.

thanks. "force recheck" and resume worked.

oooh well, if you wanted to do it the easy way....LOL. It's like i was trying to change the car tire by digging the ground instead of using a jack
