Installing Extractor Plugin

When I try to install the extractor plugin, nothing seems to happen. I go to the Preferences-plugins screen and select the check box next to Extractor and select the Appy box, but absolutely nothing happens. I'm a newbie to Deluge, so sorry if this is a dumb question
