Hello everyone,
I wonder if someone could help me sort out the problems I am having with Deluge.
I have installed the latest version of Deluge on my Raspberry Pi running Raspbmc.
I am using Deluge because it is a supported client for Transdroid, and also because it supports proxies.
I have 2 fairly major problems at the moment with it:
1) Just in the last day or so, Deluge has stopped being able to download anything at all. When I add a new torrent to download, I immediately get the error: "Input/output error: filename" (where the actual file I'm downloading is the filename). I have tried completely removing all my torrents, restarting the Daemon, rebooting the Raspberry Pi, and it has not fixed the issue. This stopped working recently, but no changes have been made on the Raspberry Pi for several weeks, either in regards to Deluge configuration, or any change to system settings or permissions, user accounts etc.
I have Transmission torrent client also installed, and it is pointing to the exact same folder to download things to, and it is able to download fine without problem.
2) The other problem isn't quite as severe, but is very annoying and has been happening ever since I installed Deluge. Before Deluge stopped being able to download anything (see problem 1 above), the daemon would randomly crash/stop/exit without warning or reason. After this crash had occured, if I tried to connect to Deluge through Transdroid or the pc client I would get the error that the web interface is not connected to a running Daemon. I have the web interface set to automatically connect to the Daemon if it is not connected. I would need to manually start the Daemon up again before I was able to get it to connect once more.
This seemed to occur maybe once or twice a day, but sometimes would happen several times a day.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am not an expert on Linux so please assume fairly low level of expertise and knowledge. I set it all up by following guides.
