Well, it does work, but when I select only a few files from a list, it won't list the intended download size.
For instance, I have 12 gigs on my harddrive, with a torrent that is 22 gigabyes bit. I have only selected two or three gigabyte worth of files, but it still reads at 22 gigabytes, and won't let me download. This only happened with this new version.
I am running Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 64-bit
0.5.8.9 Partial download not working.
Re: 0.5.8.9 Partial download not working.
I reported the same bug for the short-life 0.5.8.8, I suggest developers should take a look on this issue. This bug together with another bug that randomly corrupting the state files force me to downgrade to 0.5.8.7 again.
Re: 0.5.8.9 Partial download not working.
Same problem for me, on Windows XP.
Re: 0.5.8.9 Partial download not working.
This also happens to me. Additionally, it will not allow me to restart a 6gig torrent with 5.9gig already downloaded unless I have greater than 6 gigs still free.
Workaround: I can get torrents to start by forcing a hash-check, then clicking resume while it is hash checking.
I'm using 0.5.8.9 on ubuntu gutsy with full allocation.
