Hi,
It takes me app. 15 minutes to load the WebUI into a browser, over a local ethernet connection.
Browser simply sits there saying "transferring data from 192.168.0.68...". Then, after some 15 minutes, it eventually loads and work fine.
Please does this ring any bells? Did not find anything the forum nor FAQ.
The config is:
deluged and deluge-web are running on a Raspberry Pi, under raspbian OS. I access the raspberry over ssh from the same comp I am using for the WebUI, with no delay at all. The deluged daemon seems to be quite stabble, runs 3 days uninterupted, downloading and uploadig many gigabytes of torrents by now.
WebUI is running in a Firefox on a PC with Suse 11, on the same local network. However, I tried from a Chrome and Explorer under Windows, with similar 15 min loading time.
Thanks, cheers, Gofior
Web UI taking ages to load
Re: Web UI taking ages to load
how many torrents?
what is the load on deluge-web and deluged during this time?

Re: Web UI taking ages to load
Hi,
Few torrents (4 of them), and it does not seem to matter - it did happen before adding the first torrent as well.
Notice the problem is not with loading the list of torrents onece the WebUI is running. The problem is the loading of the WebUI itself, before you have even chance to be asked to connect to the deluged daemon.
The raspberry boots into console, and the only thing it runs is deluged and deluge-web, it runs at 20% cpu use or less, no issue there I guess. The ssh commands on raspberry run smoothly, does not seem to be overloaded.
Thanks, cheers, Gofior

Re: Web UI taking ages to load
More info:
I installed the Raspberry using the http://www.howtogeek.com/142044/how-to- ... rrent-box/ guide. Actually did so 3x from scratch until I realized the deluge-web actually is working only has some huge timeout before loading the WebUI.
Could it be that WebUI tries to actualize from some server that is unreachable? Or any other reason to stall for 15 minutes, then start working?
Thanks, cheers, Gofior
