Most of the torrents that I download get an error after about an hour and they stop downloading and seeding. When I start the download again on them they start downloading and then become an error and the download becomes 0.

I'm using Deluge 1.3.6 with libtorrent 0.16.8.0

Update I realized if I download the files on to my external hard drive they don't get an error. What could this mean?

For a Linux user I would say permission issue...
You could install the latest libtorrent, then copy the libtorrent.pyd file to Deluge install.

That is why I said 'for a linux user'. That means you should also check but it's just a guess on my part at this point, logging may reveal more information.
