Deluge
I found a little bug last week concerning the settings menu. On a fresh install, my proxy settings were somehow set to some blank options (not "None", just some empty strings which aren't even on the list), and this caused Deluge not to connect to anything. Took me nearly a week to discover the problem, I thought this was a bug in libtorrent or something like that at first. Maybe you could make Deluge set the settings to "None" if a blank proxy is set?
I'm running Arch Linux ARM on a Raspberry Pi, and installed Deluge using pacman. I'm running the Daemon there together with the web-ui, and also GTK-UI on my windows machine, and sometimes the Deluge.app on Mac OS X (I'd say this bug is daemon-related though, so the frontends probably don't matter... ?).
