Any way to reduce high resource usage on 1.3.6?

Running Windows 7x64, and just using the Deluge installer. I love Deluge but it uses more CPU than I'd expect even on just a couple of torrents. Even running the client without any torrents loaded at all uses 9-14% of my CPU!

Any way to reduce this? Is GTK at fault?

We have identified an issue with classic mode on windows and hopefully can be fixed. In the meantime if you use Deluge in thinclient mode that does help.
