weird problem

Post by miscavity »

Hi, I'm hopeing someone can help me solve this issue I'm having with my torrent settup, because I am stumped.

I'm running
deluge: 1.3.5
libtorrent: 0.15.10.0

on ubuntu 12.04

with a dd-wrt rotuer

and my provider is comast.

For what ever reason, I can connect to any and all seeders, but never to a peer/leacher. I origonallyt had manually fowared ports, so i tried upnp. Still nothing. i tried swithing encryption off, dropping the block list bluggin, tring utorent in wine, trying vuse. Going to differnt trackers and downloading linux iso's from different sites. I can never connce to peers. I've tested the active tcp port with the built in feature, I've tessted it with online tools, I've even left the house and teleneted to the box,,and got a connection on the port in question. I have friends and neighbors, with the same provider and no issues. can anybody suggest a soution, or something else to test/check.

there are no errors in the deluged log, I have active connections. I see peers atempt to joint, but they drop off withoug getting any data. I've googled and read the forum for about a week now, and cant seem to figure out what is going on.

I've also joined some torrents that had far mor leechers than seeds and no peers successfully joined. Ive set the download speed to 10k and upload to unlimited.
