Deluge would be less than nothing without its users....we're here for you guys (and ourselves a bit). which other feathers do you want? which annoyances that you just never asked to changed, like that cleer seeds thing that you all voted on and i changed. stuff like that is what open source and community is all about. ask away....let's use whatever open source offers us. i'm listening :)

There is the option to priorize the first and last pieces of torrents - which is nice, but not always that helpful.
µTorrent has the option to priorize rare pieces. Which is truely interesting, as it stabilizes the distribution.

Thus, my question: Does libtorrent allow for weigthening pieces that are rare and would it be possible to implement that into Deluge?

It would be nice, if you add the 'Force start' feature, most of BT clients have it. For example, 'Max. simultaneous active torrents' option is set to 5, but by pressing 'Force Start' on the 6th torrent it would start downloading/seeding, ignoring the queueing options. I personally think this function is useful sometimes...

the plugin "torrent-creator" should remember trackers added. maybe it's possible to organize default trackers in plugin's preferences?
another topic in "torrent creator": it should not only be possible to add the created torrent to the "waiting list" (don't know the english term for it because i use a - very well - translated version) automatically (why else would i create a torrent?) but also remember the file's or folder's path.

keep on rocking and thanks for developing this nice piece of software!

I will be adding this to 0.6.. Unfortunately 0.5's design doesn't lend well to this type of option and that's why it hasn't been implemented yet.

I'd like to be able to have the torrent file (by which I mean to the actual torrent itself, rather than the content that the torrent is pointing to) automatically moved to a location of my choosing after the download has completed.

I explained why I wanted this particular feature in the following thread:

What I'm really hanging out for is the ability to rename files before downloading however I know that this currently impossible due to it not being implemented by libtorrent :(

When it gets implemented, I would love the ability to integrate renaming files with FlexRSS (or whatever the feed scanner is called at the time) so that torrents that are automatically downloaded can be renamed to a set pattern based on their show name, season and episode number and even episode title. I currently have an external script that automatically renames tv shows into my defined structure, however it's annoying since I have to stop seeding to do the renaming and it's not automatic.

As for more plausible options, it would be nice to know when a torrent was first downloaded, average download/upload speed of a torrent and for the ETA to work as described here: http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... f=8&t=1046

There's a bug still hanging around that prevents you from restarting Deluge after a crash if the Web UI is enabled. You have to kill the Web UI process before you can start Deluge. I'd really, really like to see that fixed at last.

the horizontal scrollbar in the details pane bugs me, also that the details pane keeps changing size vertically

other than that im very happy with it :)
maybe a speed profiles could be handy. like now i set both up and down speeds to unlimited when i go to bed and have to adjust again in the morning to make the computer useable. maybe a set of profiles would be handy, like profile 'night' can be set to set downspeed to 5mbit and upspeed to 1 mbit for example and then change to another profile with different speeds when needed

It would be nice if the checking of the torrents at startup would not block downloading or uploading of the ones already checked!
