Web UI not available for connect after first time

When accessing Deluge from another computer on the same subnet, connection to the web-ui initially works great. If the browser window is closed, and connection to the Deluge web-ui is later attempted, connection is not possible. The Deluge Web-ui appears, but does not prompt for a password, and no connections are available in the connection manager. Screenshot attached.

Normally I'm accessing Deluge from Firefox, but Safari exhibits the same behaviour. Restarting Deluge on the host machine allows another connection to the web-ui, but then the problem returns. Running 1.3.2 from the Ubuntu PPA, but also had this problem on 1.3.1. Ubuntu OS is 10.10.

Any helpful suggestions are appreciated...
