Deluge does not accept the settings of change directory

Post by Del123 »

Guys,

I tried changing the directory where saved the torrent while in download, and after completed but did not work.

My internal hard drive to save the small torrents is a 70GB, then plugged my external HD and tried to drive it:
Example:

Download to:
/ media / Elements / Torrent
----
But it is not working, what can it be?

The file is showing as "cheking" eternally and never begin download, just i change de directory?

Thanks

bump

I'm having the same issue. Switched my download folder, and now I have a bunch of files eternally checking/error. Move storage is not changing path. :S

Indefinite checking usually means permission problems for that dir and the fact you cannot use move storage also suggests the same thing.

I tried changing the permissions with chown, and sudoing thunar and nautilus but neither of those worked. I then tried deleting all my uncompleted torrents in uncompleted directory. no joy. I went to '/home/john/.config/deluge/state' and tried re-adding the torrents but it wouldn't because they were already there.

then, I closed deluge, deleted /home/john/.config/deluge/state/torrents.state
and
/home/john/.config/deluge/state/torrents.fastresume
. opened deluge. all my torrents were gone. I then dragged all the torrents from /state/ into deluge and it added them to the correct download directory. apparently it was a corrupt or malfunctioning torrents.state or torrents.fastresume that was causing the issue. both the old and new versions of those files had the same permissions.

I only with I hadn't purged my trash bin before trying it :'(
