Installing Deluge 1.3 on Debian Lenny

Post by liq »

Hi there, I had a quick search around the forums but couldn't find a solution to my problem. I am following this guide to install Deluge on Lenny. Everything worked fine, up until the apt-key step. The following error presented itself:
apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver pgp.surfnet.nl 3ACC3965
Executing: gpg --ignore-time-conflict --no-options --no-default-keyring --secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg --trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg --keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --recv-keys --keyserver pgp.surfnet.nl 3ACC3965
gpg: requesting key 3ACC3965 from hkp server pgp.surfnet.nl
gpg: keyserver timed out
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error
Ideas anyone?

Thanks!

Oh, solved it myself.

http://pgp.surfnet.nl/pks/lookup?op=index&search=Deluge

Used 249AD24C as the key.

However, if someone would like to help me install the web ui, that'd be cool. It says the package is installed ... but it's not appearing in Deluge.

If the web ui is installed, then you should be able to run deluge-web.

Cool, thanks. I've managed that now.

I don't quite get how to make the web ui work.

Do I run the deluge gtk ui and does the web ui "connect" to that?

Or do I run the daemon?

Or?

Hooray, I managed everything and it's working. I've even got multiple instances of deluged and deluge-web running using different ports.

Thanks johnnyg.
