If you install deluge-gtk then all assosiated deluge-packages are installed and there will be no problem.
If you just install deluged (the daemon) as i did on my Ubuntu Server then the script won't run. The reason for this is that you also need deluge-web to be installed, otherwise the script fails(with no error messages so it is a bit confusing).
I think this "dependency" should be mentioned on the guide.
