[solved] Windows Client connecting to Linux Daemon?

Post by hellwig »

Hello everbody,

I'm running Deluge at a Small LInux Server. Everything is working fine. But I'm wondering if there is a possibility to connect a Windows Client to the Linux Daemon?
For example: I'm surfing under Windows XP and klicking to a torrent Link in Firefox. Now it would be great if this Link is sent to the Linux Daemon.
(like "Sancho" Client at Windows site and mldonkey on Linux Server site if someone knows these programs).

Is this possible?

Thank you,
Peter

Thank you! Now I can connect from Windows Client to Linux Deluge Daemon. :-)

But I'm having problems with Browser Links. After klicking on a torrent link I can see a Window popping up a sec and then nothing more happened. If I copy the link and using the "Add torrent" option it is working fine.

Best Regards,
Peter
