Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried the search feature but could not find anything.
I just installed Deluge on an old computer running Ubuntu 9.10. I would like to use this as a seed box.
I created a torrent with Deluge, uploaded the torrent to the tracker, then downloaded it from the tracker, loaded it into Deluge, and pointed the torrent to my files.
When I did all of this Deluge is trying to DOWNLOAD the files (i.e. it is not "checking" the files and then seeding).
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
This is the torrent I am trying to seed:

Thanks.
Can not get torrents to start seeding...
Re: Can not get torrents to start seeding...
UPDATE: I installed uTorrent via WINE and that seems to be working, so it's not my network or computer.
Sort of stumped on this.

Have you tried to "force a recheck"?

Make sure you are pointing to the proper download location and not a folder that is part of the actual torrent. i.e. If your files are in ~/downloads/TheMovie/ and the torrent contains a subfolder called TheMovie, when you went to add the torrent to deluge you should point to ~/downloads/ rather than ~/downloads/TheMovie/
