Connection Manager freeze?

Post by Artian »

Hi guys,

Sorry if the question is lame, I just need to ask it. I use deluge since almost 2 years now and never had a problem like this.

I just installed Win7 Ultimate, wanted to put on Deluge 1.1.7 but it freeze. I renamed deluged to deluged1 (this was the one freezing) and then the program started (executing deluge.exe) but the Connection Manager hangs and no activity.

If i install 1.2.0 rc1 then all goes fine, and I mean it, it passes Connection Manager with grace and the program works. Problem is, 1.2.0 is still banned from both of my torrent sites.

But nevertheless what can be the problem here?

Thank you.

Could it be that it's trying to start and connect to a local daemon? Does the daemon start on it's own properly? Have you tried a clean gtkui.conf?

I just made a new user, installed Deluge there and it worked. So then I got User1 (original) AppData/Roaming/Deluge deleted it, and then copied User2 (recently created) AppData/Roaming/Deluge and now it works flawlessly.
