I have Deluge currently set up to monitor the Desktop for torrents to were it automatically starts downloading the files as soon as I download a torrent to my desktop. What I can't figure out is, were are the torrents going? Normally, if I didnt have Deluge set up to do this, the torrent would download to my desktop and then I would have to add it once it is downloaded. Now however, the download starts automatically but when I go to the desktop, the torrents aren't there?
I just want to know to were I can delete the torrents after I am done downloading the files. This I can do with no problem but with it set up this way I cannot.
Ive looked in alot of Deluge folders for them and cant find them anywhere.... Is it just using the data to start the download and then deleting it automatically? I like to keep the torrents of files I have downloaded recently just in case something happens and I need to download it again. I cant do this with this happening though.
ANy help would be great.
Were do the Torrents Go
Re: Were do the Torrents Go
The actual .torrent files are stored in <deluge settings folder>/state with the torrent hash as the name of the torrent.
You can find out the default settings folder location here: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Faq# ... tssettings
These .torrent files are automatically deleted when the torrent is removed from deluge.
If you want to keep a copy go to Preferences->Downloads and enable "Copy of .torrent files to:".
