Active Port Problem

Post by h8uthemost »

Hey guys,

I'm having a constant problem with the active port. Under Incoming Ports I untick the Use Random Ports box. Then I go into my router page, open a port, then type that port number into the From: and To: boxes. Then I click Test Active Port, and I get a green signal. Everything is fine. And, next to where it says Active Port:, will show my port number.

But...it seems like almost everytime I shut down Deluge and computer, and restart them both, the number next to Active Port: is different than port that I opened on my router and inputted into the From: and To: boxes. Here is a pic of what I mean:

So as you can see from the pic, the port number next to the text Active Port: is different than the port in the From: and To: boxes. Which means I am not connectible. I've been just going into my router and opening the port that is shown next to Active Port:, but I figured that there has to be a reason why Deluge is doing this, and somehow to stop it from happening again and again.

So is there anyway to keep this from always happening? I'm using version 1.1.6 by the way.

Also, I use mainly private trackers. So should I input the port number that I opened into the Outgoing Ports as well as the Incoming? Because I only input that port into the Incoming Port, and just use random ports for Outgoing.

Thank you for any help. It will be appreciated.

Hmmm...I'm guessing the devs are stumped by this as well?
