WTF?! Deluge using almost all my RAM as Swap/buffer
WTF?! Deluge using almost all my RAM as Swap/buffer
Earlier (about 20 minutes ago), i closed Deluge cleanly and i rebooted my system (I also added some RAM, but that's not 100% the point). When i re-started Deluge after my system booted, it had to check some of my torrents, but in checking them, Deluge ate up literally almost all my RAM as swap or buffer space and refuses to release it. I find this REALLY annoying especially since that buffer space is no longer available for an app that needs it. I can't kill Deluge, because if i did, i'd almost guarantee the RAM usage would drop and when i started Deluge back up, it would check my torrents...and eat all my RAM again. I find this a HUGE bug that i would seriously like to see fixed.
Re: WTF?! Deluge using almost all my RAM as Swap/buffer
No problem here, Deluge 0.5.8.4 is rechecking all my 40+ torrents right now (because of the recheck bug) and RAM usage is about 3.5% (of 2gb).
