This is my first time using a torrent client as it took awhile to figure out how to configure the router and dsl modem. I am running deluge on winxp and just downloaded the window 7 beta iso file. It is located in \Document and Settings\
username\alongname.iso
I want to burn the iso to dvd and my first attempt caused some problem and the file started downloading all over again. Now I think I should make a copy of the file and rename it to something nero will accept. I assume that by leaving the file where it is currently located it will become available for others to download so I dont want to just move it somewhere else. I really can't figure out why the download started up again but probably best to just let it complete once again.
I would like to know what to do with the downloaded file without comprising the torrent file process.
thanks for any assistance
after file is dnld what next?
Re: after file is dnld what next?
if you rename the file with explorer, deluge can't see the file anymore so it starts downloading it again.
if you rename the file within deluge then it can continue seeding and you can burn the .iso.
Under the files tab, if you click on the filename, you should be able to rename it.
