Upgrading from 1.1.4 to 1.1.5 but nothnig works

Hi,
like said in the title upgrading from 1.1.4 to 1.1.5 all is freezed:
- jobs are gone away
- preferences are grayed

I have ubuntu v8.10 64 bits

I HAVE TO UNISTALL 1.1.5 AND INSTALL 1.1.4... SO SAD.... MOST OF ALL TO NON-ANSWER...
