Suggestion: iPhone optimized WebUI

and was wondering if there's a chance to have something similiar in Deluge?

Not in focus right now,too much other things to do.

But... it would not be hard to make a iphone template, and there's not a lot of python-knowledge required to realize it.

If the layout is template based where would one look to start picking away at it assuming no current deluge development knowledge (IE the primary source files for the web UI)?

You've resurrected a thread which is over 3 years old, the web ui mvoncken was talking about isn't the same as the current one (which was rewritten by damoxc).
I think you'll find that the layout is no longer template based.
