[Feature Request] make private flag default

Hi, is it possible to a add one or all of the options bellow

• 1. set the private flag enabled by default
  2. detect if the torrent is private and set it on
  3. perhaps allow to change the flag later on

I think this is very useful if you want use DHT and mix free torrents with private ones.

1 - probably wont happen. we want to keep deluge simple
2 - we already do, we just dont show it
3 - yeah, we could probably do this.

in 2. you could display it, I think it's useful
i forgot something, another nice feat would be showing Private status in torrent info, something like uTorrent's "DHT Status: not allowed", or in 0.6 label system have one for private torrents

i thought of this because i got banned from a private tracker, I forgot to enable the private flag in one torrent and I was using DHT, at moment I have disabled DHT just to be safe

How do you set a torrent to be private? I don't see it in any of the options.

you have to have "enable selecting files for torrents before loading" enabled. then you'll see it in the dialog when you add a torrent

If you allow the private flag to be removed on a private flagged torrent your client is going to get banned from every private tracker or worst, you are going to get a lot of your users banned from their private sites
That should be a priority to include in the next version, if the torrent comes with the private flag activated you should gray out and activate that checkbox.

That is unless that ckeckbox does nothing if the torrent file is already flagged as private? Maybe a developer can clarify this, because i certainly dont want to get banned from private sites and i know someday i will forget to check that box.

checkbox does nothing if the torrent file is flagged as private. it's there to enable privacy with torrents not already flagged

thanks for the quick answer, keep up the good work.
For some reason this client can completely avoid my ISPs throttling, something other clients have completed failed at, and so i will be making Deluge my default one. Cheers
