0.5.8.1 fails to run

version 0.5.8.1 doesn't run ... it only loads dbus-daemon-deluge.exe and the GUI never appears.
version 0.5.8.0 runs without major problems.

OS: win server 2003 enterprise edition SP1

hrm....that's a tough one, as i dont have a win server 2003 to test on. does starting deluge from the command prompt give any errors?

5.8.1 was crashing for me after about 30 sec.

Renamed my settings folder (c:/Documents and Settings/%currentuser%/deluge) and let deluge recreate it , reloaded my torrents straight from the renamed folder and it has run all night stably. Only thing is, I can't figure out how to reimport my flexrss filters. oh well, redoing them by hand isn't so bad since I had the list of feeds saved in a text file.

Also fails to run on my PC - never had any problem so far with any of the previous version (since the very early versions.)

1) I had 0.5.8 installed, running fine.
2) Runned 0.5.8.1 setup - installation went all ok
3) Running Deluge - failed to show any interface, but started the deluge daemon process.
4) I deleted my "deluge" folder on my user settings
5) Running deluge now showed the "1st run" form - asking to configure the connections - etc.
6) On the end of the configuration, the interface failed to show, just the daemon process running as before.

7) another issue, even though I'm on "internationalized XP version", I usually delete all language folders, and leave just the ENglish folders - I like my deluge in English. In the previous versions, it reverted language back to english. In this version it doesn't appear to run at all. (Deleting the "deluge" settings, and the "languages folders" except english, Deluge doesn't even start to the "1st configuration" screens. It might be related to the *real* problem of the interface not showing at all, or not.

I had to go back to the 0.5.8 version - and endure a lengthy recheck process...
Hope this issue gets sorted out soon.

My ISP is blocking torrents, uTorrent doesn't work. While Deluge keeps on working fine - don't ask me why or how!)

yup...also face the same prob...been using Deluge since 0.5.6 version...what can i say...ur program rocks!!
