0.5.8 very stable

Post by sluthead »

I must admit, I nearly went back to Azureus after the other branches resulted in regular crashes on my machine. I'm glad I took the time to actually completely clear Deluge from my system and install the 0.5.8 deb package. It seems regularly building the svn sources managed to cause errors on my Gutsy system. Even installing the official package with the svn build on didn't help any but once completely removed 0.5.8 continues to shine. For me now, it's a very complete system. Auto pickup of torrents works great and the updated WebGUI is awesome. No crashes since I had it installed.

Thanks for it!

glad to hear :) this is one of the reasons that we dont recommend for people to use svn...the polish only happens in the release packages. glad all is good with you!
