Seeders and Peers to 0 & Upload problem- 0.5.8.4-Ubuntu 7.10
Re: Seeders and Peers to 0 & Upload problem- 0.5.8.4-Ubuntu 7.10
Hmm. I'm okay with the fact that seeders number is not needed anymore, when you're already seeding yourself. But the peers number doesn't seem to be correct too. Deluge says that there are 0(0) or 1(1) peers, but tracker's web interface displays a slightly higher number of peers. Am I missing something? Or this really might be an issue either in tracker or in Deluge.

If it's a torrent with multiple trackers the site could be reporting all the peers combined on the multiple trackers, since deluge only connects to one tracker it could explain why those numbers are different. Or, this site that reports the number of peers might not be updated as often as your active list of peers.
Also, just so you don't ask next, yes, the official torrent protocol is to connect to only one tracker at a time. Others that connect to multiple trackers at once are not following proper protocol.

loki, thank you very much for explanation. I think that the reason of my problem is tracker address. It is unique to each tracker user, mine is http://bt.torrents.ru/announce.php?uk=ORarEmFHFH, where ORarEmFHFH is a key which is used to calculate ratio for registered users.

I have problems with torrents<dot>ru tracker too. Numerous 'connection refused', 'timed out, ''seed to seed connection redundant' messages from peers in the log.
By the way, it isn't safe to public your passkey.
