Install init.d Skript Errors

Hi Guys!

I tried to install deluge 1.1.9 on a Ubuntu Intrepid and everything works fine. But then I wanted do use the init.de script as mentioned in the wiki. I copied the stuff to the places and changed the chmod.

When i tried to do a update-rc.d i got:

warning: lsb header missing

When i tried anyway starting the daemon i got:

Code: Select all

file does not exist

But of course it does exist...

I am pretty new to that stuff, may someone please help me?


By the way, i also wanted to install Deluge as Client in Windows. But there I got a problem with the GTK. I tells my that a lib is missing. AS I found out it might be because of an interaction with pidgin...any hints? The GTK pidgin uses is 2.14.7.

The issue with windows at least, make sure if you have Pidgin installed with it's GTK when you install Deluge unselect the GTK option.
