I recently discovered Deluge and installed it on my 64-bit Jaunty system--version 1.1.6 from the repos. I usually use rtorrent as I like being able to administer the torrents remotly via ssh but Deluge looked like a better compromise between remote access and functionality.
However, I get some error messages when I attempt to run Deluge on my system. The Gnome application appears to work without problems but sometimes the web-gui works and sometimes I get an error message there as well. I have a couple of questions:
(1) How can I install the most recent version--1.1.9? When will this be available in the standard Jaunty repos? I would like to install the most recent version before attempting to report the errors I receive in version 1.1.6.
(2) If one user on the system (say UserA) is running Deluge, if another user (say UserB) tries to start Deluge it just hangs. Can Deluge be used by two users on a machine simultaneously?
(3) When I close the Gnome app it also closes the deluged daemon. Is there a way to close the desktop application and keep the daemon running?
Thanks,
Ken
