"Permission denied" error in torrent status

Post by brodiepearce »

Hi,

I'm new here and this might be a bit early for posting questions. But I can't find any resolutions to this on these forums or by googling.

On two currently downloading torrents for one specific tracker (error isn't happening for other new torrents on other trackers), after about 5 minutes of successful downloading, the torrents will top with Details status "Permission denied". Apparently this usually means a file permission error (guess this is a libtorrent error?), but all the file and folder permissions are correct, and exactly the same as every other torrent destination.

The tracker these torrents are attached to does not have any error like "Permission denied"... and this error is showing for the overall torrent status, tracker status is "OK".

Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?

best would be to run deluge[d] with logging enabled and paste the log here after that happens.

Sorry for the lack of replies.

I managed to get https working after a while. Issue was because I didn't have pyopenssl installed. I guess the deluge package didn't install it by default.
