errors after deluge restart 1.1.7

Post by wickedboy »

I am running 1.1.7 on a 64 bit Gentoo system.
I understand there is a known issue with this version that causes high CPU usage. When this happens, I have to restart deluge webui and the daemon. Often this is using a killall -s KILL signal. I have found that this often results in the existing torrents erroring out. Sometime I can eventually restart them but it is extremely annoying.

Are there logs somewhere that I can send for more information?

Thanks for this, I feel a bit stupid by not RTFM.. however, as I'm using deluged from the Gentoo init script, I'm trying to work out how to edit the script to include this option (my first attempt at adding a line into the /etc/conf.d/deluged script didn't work)....

Let me know if it's worth posting the gentoo init script here to see what edits can be made.

post your init script for sure, we have an initscript page that desperately needs expanding: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/UserGuide/InitScript
