Need Help with Blocklist Plugin

Post by Aaron »

Basically spent last two hrs trying to figure this out. I don't think blocklist is importing from my local drive properly. I am using 1.1.7 and Windows 7 RC1. Thanks in advance ya'll! I just started using Deluge and it's fast~ But if I can't get my custom blocklist working i will have to go back to utorrent.

I make my own Emule list (ipfilter.dat) and compressed it w/ gzip so I could use it with deluge.

Type: Emule IP List (GZip)
URL: C:\Program Files\Deluge\ipfilter.dat.gz
Import blocklist on startup: Checked

When I start deluge.exe, in the cmd box it says a bunch of stuff (sry keyboard is broken so using on screen ) starting w/ Traceback and ends with Windows Error: [Error 2] The system cannot find the file specified:'C:\\Users\\myysername\\AppData\\Roaming\\deluge\\blocklist.download'

Why isn't this working? I want to use my custom blocklist>

All help is GREATLY appreciated!!

Make sure you set the filename in the following format, for your particular location it should be: file:\\\C:\Program Files\Deluge\ipfilter.dat.gz
I usually like to place the blocklist on the root of the disk to keep the filename much simpler: file:\\\C:\ipfilter.dat.gz
