Incorrect Peer Client Id

Post by Ibslice »

on the windows version (have not tested the others yet) it reports peers using uTorrent/1600 as uTorrent/1500

simple error but probably needs fixing.

No reply after 11 days?

Dissapointing - but best of luck still.

it's just more or less irrelevant. no offense, but who cares? this is a *very* minor thing with no ill-effects, especially considering that we have very large things that still need doing...like a complete rewrite in 0.6.

Bugs are a "who cares?"
Sure there are more important bugs.. but "who cares"?
Strange response considering I was promoting your client to 20 major sites including discussions with those 20+ sites sysops. (seeing as I am admin at 1 and sysop at another)
We were promoting it as the new alternative to uTorrent as many are still paranoid about the uTorrent ownership and many are concerned about the java + load usage on their systems of Azureus. Halite was a promising alternative but development is slow there. I had been testing out Deluge and had been recommending it to many site staff as a viabale alternative. But this response troubles me.

Thats a shame.

Please post bug reports on our tracker. http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/newticket

It's not that we don't care about bugs, it's just that most of the development is focusing on 0.6 now, so we aren't too interested in trivial 0.5 bugs.
