I'm a programmer myself, but never actually worked with those "multi-developers/versions" tools (if I'm not mistaken about what svn is)

Also, I'm running the windows version, which might complicate matters a bit more (and since the 5.8.0 version, the versions have been crashing on my PC - which is weird as I never had a problem before even with the very first versions)
sorry, i should've been more specific. i really meant only our linux users, instructions for which can be found in our faq (http://deluge-torrent.org/faq.php#4n10). running deluge svn on windows is very difficult and not recommended or supported. if our linux users can confirm that we've broken through some throtlling, that'll be enough and windows users will benefit on our next fix release.
thanks for your willingness to test, though. i wish it was easier to do on windows :P

No problem, and thanks for the explanation.

If no one else comes forth, I'm willing to install ubuntu on a second box or "virtual PC" just to try it out.
Meanwhile, I'll be giving that svn thing a look.
